Sharp LCD Supply iPhone 6?


Manufacturers reported that Sharp panels will design the next generation LCD screens for Apple's iPhone 6.
According to Nikkan news reported on Wednesday (27/04/2011), p-Si LCD sophisticated will allow companies based in Cupertino had to make thinner and lighter design for the sixth iteration of the hugely popular smartphone.
As analyst Neil Hughes AppleInsider provide happy note in the "p-Si LCD," thin film transistor, or TFT, screen polycristalline manufactured out of silicon.
Display drivers that can be plugged directly into the glass substrate effective to shrink the TFT LCD screen and facilitates significantly thinner.
"This technology has enabled the company to create a 'system on glass' device, where optical sensors, signal processing circuitry and other components located directly on the glass substrate,"explained Hughes.
"This eliminates the need for additional components of devices like the iPhone, save space inside the device and even increase battery life by improving efficiency," he said.
Although Apple has not confirmed the iPhone 6 will attend, but many Apple rumors will start production this smartphone in 2012.
