Android slowly began to shift the dominance of the iPhone in the United States. AdMob data show, until March 2010 Android user traffic increases dramatically.
Throughout March 2010, traffic Android users increased to 46 percent while the iPhone controls approximately 39 percent in the smartphone market.
But overall for the world market, the iPhone still remains superior. iPhone OS controls approximately 46 percent share, while Android 25 percent in the new world.
Growing ecosystem of Android is expected to erode the dominance of the iPhone in the OS market. Support 50 thousand applications show the rapid growth of Android.
The number of 50 thousand applications had reached the Android Market only within a period of 18 months. In December 2009 the new Android applications reached 16,000 applications.
But compared with Applications in the App store, Android application number is still fairly far considering Apple now has approximately 190 000 applications in the application store. Thus was launched TechCrunch on Wednesday (28/04/2010).
