Google's 'fence' Android Honeycomb


Google's Android software decided to delay access to the newest version 3.0 (Honeycomb) to other devices except the tablet. Mountain View-based company insisted, there is still much work to be completed before Honeycomb can be used in other devices.
Google introduced the Honeycomb earlier this year and mendapuknya as first Android software designed specifically for tablet PCs. This software also describe his dedication to rival Google's dominance of Apple's iPad tablet on the market today.
Because of that, Google was reluctant to open access Honeycomb to another device, such as smart phones. Google worry, the benefits will not be visible maximum Honeycomb on other devices unless the tablet.
"Since the beginning of Honeycomb created for devices with large screen size and advanced features such as favorite Android widgets, multitasking, browsing, notification and customization,"said Google spokesman told the Straits Times, Friday (03/24/2011).

"Although we enthusiastically offer these features for tablet Android, we still have to finish lots of work before taking it to other devices, including mobile phones," added the spokesman.
"We are committed to bringing Android as an open platform in a variety of other devices and will publish it after everything is ready,"he concluded.
