Actors IT Industry veteran who is also the founder of one PC vendor Michael Dell said he believes that sales of Android tablet will ultimately exceed Apple's iPad.
According to Dell, the takeover of tablets Android is likely to gradually but stable as Google's mobile operating system that continues to march forward triumphantly.
"It will not happen tomorrow or the next day But once again., if you saw 18 months ago, Android phone and the result was like what like what at the moment," said Dell argued during an interview with the Wall Street Journal, which was launched on Tuesday (26/04/2011).
"And now there are Android phones more than the iPhone I see no reason why the same thing will not happen with Android tablets. Yes, I think you'll see the same thing happen, with a very large number of tablets Android devices with Dell certainly play a role in also, "he added.
Interestingly enough, Dell acknowledged that he failed to anticipate the "rapid rise of tablets," because he did not fully see the new trends coming.
"Tablets are not really new, in the sense that the idea of tablet PCs has been around for a while obviously, the newer products have been far more successful," said Dell.
